CORRECTION:
“Ukrainian MP Mariana Bezuglaya, from Zelensky’s own party”

Mariana Bezuglaya is now an “Independent” disassociating from the political affiliations of the ‘Servant of the People.’

She has been quite controversial. An example is: On 5 May 2022, Bezuglaya submitted a draft law to the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine’s national parliament) which could allow commanders to kill military personnel in a combat situation if they refused to follow orders.

At the time of the submission, during martial law and in a combat situation, commanders had the right to use weapons against violators of the charter “WITHOUT leading to the death of a serviceman”. This draft law would have removed this line.

The draft law proved highly controversial, and as such was withdrawn on the 24th May 2022.

Ukrainian air defence down all drones approaching Kyiv overnight

All Russian attack drones that targeted the city of Kyiv on the night of 30-31 August and on the morning of 31 August have been destroyed by Ukrainian air defence assets and personnel.

DETAILS:

The authorities reported that this was the fourth air attack on Kyiv this week.

Loitering munitions approached the capital throughout the night, in waves and from different directions.

The air-raid warning in the capital was issued four times and was in effect for almost four hours in total.

Early reports indicate that there were no casualties or damage in Kyiv.

QUOTE:

“As you can see, Kyiv has been and always will be a priority target for the Russian aggressor in this war.

Therefore, I urge Kyiv residents and visitors to be conscious and disciplined. Always follow the rules when an air-raid warning is issued and go to shelters!”

On the night of 30-31 August, Kyiv Oblast Military Administration reported that air defense was responding to the Russian attack in Kyiv Oblast.

True, Ukrainians could do the same, but probably will not. They are running away from Russian bombs, but Russians are running away from Ukrainian bullets and ones from their own government if they refuse to fight.

Several possibilities have been publicly suggested for the loss of the F-16, including:

1. Downing by Patriot missile

2. Pilot error

3. Mechanical problems

4. Strike by Russian missle.

What's known for certain is that Ukraine's Air Force chief Lt. Gen. Mykola Oleshchuk was immediately removed.
I think Ukraine's Patriot missiles come under their Air Force control.

After the event, Ukraine's Air Force chief, Lt. Gen. Mykola Oleshchuk, was immediately removed.

In the past, Russians themselves were more willing to blame their own friendly fire for shoot-downs of Russian planes, rather than give credit to Ukrainians for such long-shots.

Friendly fire happens, sadly, in every military.

You might remember, in 1988 the USS Vincennes in the Persian Gulf unintentionally shot down Iran Air Flight 655, tragically killing all 290 onboard.
I think an attacking Iranian F-14 was actually hiding behind or beneath Flight 655, but nevertheless, the US paid the victims' families $62 million in compensations, in 1996.

Thus, the NeoSoviet, Commie, Islamist alliance Russia is part of must be treated with equilibrium. Let Ukraine hit military and electrical power plants in Moscow, every day.
Russia is doing it to Kiev already, it’s time for some eye-to-an-eye reciprocity.
