Sarcasm aside, Trump is trying to win an election in a country where a majority of the voters support legal access to abortion.
We don't have to like it but that's the reality of the situation. Our choices are between voting for pro-abortion Trump or voting for pro-abortion and full blown communist Kamala Harris.

Yes. Trump’s statement might be help him politically. And I can’t see how it would hurt him much.
But I would have preferred he said something like, “This is a state issue. And I’m not running for governor of Florida. So my Florida vote is private.”
