So what happens if Mongolia passes a law that states, “Every person born in the United States, is now a Mongolian citizen?”
Does that mean that no one born in the United States can be elected president?
Is Mongolian law binding on US citizens? I don’t think so.
We are not their citizens.
Their laws are meaningless to us unless we choose to go there.
Are you sure that’s a bad thing? /s
“Every person born in the United States, is now a Mongolian citizen?”
Not possible if you have two parents who were naturalized
or natural born. Even if a kid was born in another country
that does not recognise dual citizenship. They retain
their US citizenship.
It’s not a question of WHERE you were born vs who you
were born to when it comes to holding the highest office.
