I do know some Dems who are irked by valor stolen by politicians, panhandlers, and etc.

To make your point, however, consider Mister Richard Blumenthal who falsely claimed, apparently several times, that he served in Vietnam.

Rather than apologize for the deceit, he dismissed dismissed the theft of valor as misspeaking and not being sufficiently clear or precise.

And, the not-very-choosey Connecticut Dems made him a senator.

Liking Vance more every day. Yesterday on his campaign plane he really took it to the journalists on the plane, in a very classy and forceful way. He started with “I am getting to know some of you, personally I like you”. Then he addressed their unwillingness to force Kamala into an interview, that she should be willing to talk to the American people. He then said their lack of interest is disgraceful. (Paraphrased). He did the same thing today in Detroit.
