Yes, and if you read between the lines, he is not saying that this is bad news for democrats. He never explicitly said this, but his analysis showed that the rural areas are staying Trump, and perhaps gone further, and the urban strongholds are just as strongly democrat as ever, but then he said the suburbs are driving democrat.
If he is right, then in the total balance, Minnesota should be moving slightly away from Trump.

Georgia/Atlanta was reliably R from 1984 on with exceptions in 92 and 2020. It is no longer reliable. Michigan turned Blue around 1992. Arizona was reliably Red except 1996 and 2020. Phoenix turned bad.
This is all not useful data.
Texas went Dem in 1976.
Georgia went Dem in ‘92, and FL went Dem twice for Obama and now, nope.
FL’s cities did not get smaller.

If that scenario comes to pass, ( a chaotic Convention) that optic with accompanying narrative would obviously constitute yet another factor pushing a Trump victory—I was there though in 1968, an active participant, and the circumstances were, among other things, to DUMP the HUMP-—Hubert Humphrey (anyone remember him?) up for the nomination, and primed to continue LBJ’s prosecution of the war in Vietnam. The Chicago cops who “wood-shampooed” the hippies were there to enforce the Chicago Dem Machine Mayor’s orders to get rid of these “disruptors”, when in fact it was a Police Riot, as was easily observable to the eyes of anyone who was there every day for the long haul. Unless you’re saying that Daley’s actions and his Enforcer-Cops were what “the Dems were all about” ,and it was what transpired in Chi for all the world to see that “landslided Nixon into office”, it makes little sense to compare the enormous and growing opposition to the Vietnam war nationwide to the Antida/Hamas/BLM rioters of the last several years, whose function (and funding) we all know too well. P.S. only after I got this far did I understand your phrase “wood-shampooed”—remembering a baton whizzing past my head, which would’ve probably put me in the hospital had it connected.
