That sounds terrible. (I looked it up). Good luck with the process.
I tell everyone who has unexplained things going on in their head neck or jaw to look at their panoramic xray to see if they might have eagle sydrome. It is rare but given what I have been through I would say very under diagnosed. Anyone with long covid should also look at it.
There is a support group called living with eagles. The symptoms are widely varied. Many many of us have been through medical gaslighting.
I may or may not have a CNS leak but I never even considered it until hearing about the syndrome.
Some of what people are going through is pretty horrific. For example, one person was having blood flow in his jugular or carotid artery.. Can’t remember.... cut off when he turned his head but because they were taking images in a neutral position they were missing it.
Nasty business.
Btw,..it did show up in my previous CT scans and dental xrays but no one ever told me . Clear as day but radiologists failed to notate. I have no doubt there will be people here who have it and may never know it.
That is why I bring it up every so often.
