Cheatle doesn’t actually have any beans to spill ... she’s a clueless moron figurehead only ... statements such as the roof peak has a slope so it was too dangerous to station agents on the roof and denying that the trump campaign repeatedly asked for more and better protection multiple times when there is written proof to the contrary, clearly indicates Cheatle has zero idea about what is really going on about anything ...
Cheatle mindlessly parrots whatever she is told and is not the person really running the secret service ... in simple terms, Cheatle is a dupe ... there are others [unknown others] who are the ones who are really in control at the secret service, and Congress needs to determine who those others are and expose them ...
We have seen this situation before. People have been issued subpoenas to federal employees to testify. Those people resigned or retired and the courts quashed the subpoenas.
You are making a classic mistake of projecting what you wish the law says rather than what is says. That is what Socialists and Communists routinely do. I am not saying you are a Socialist or a Communist, just that you are doing what they do.
When she resigns, she will turn in her cell phone and other records. If she shows up for a hearing, she will simply say, “I can’t remember. I do not have access to the records I would need to answer that question fully and correctly.” I will be up to the House and Senate committees then to subpoena those records.

Of course Cheatle knows zip about real world security operations — she’s an empty suit/personnel manager. The Biden Administration m.o. is to put morons at the top of agencies so that hidden insiders have free reign — just like Joe.
I bet Cheatle does know things that a professional could work out of her in a closed session (i.e., not the usual sound bite sessions with Congresspersons on camera). Things like: who is her direct boss/ does she get instructions form anyone else sometimes? Who? When? What about? Who gives her her marching orders; how she/the SS is micromanaged politically and by whom; whether she was instructed to undeserve Trump, by whom and when; who denied specific requests for more security for Trump; who insisted that B-team security be sent to the rally in P; who was in charge of the event security; did that person “enhance” DEI objectives?; who created the security plan, who reviewed and approved it?; why they didn’t have a drone or surveillance cameras on high points like the cranes and water tower; what were the “countersnipers” on the second floor of the AGR building supposed to be doing?; bureaucratic details about SS staffing and integration of SS with DHS; whether DEI objectives caused understaffing, slower recruitment/training, and an experience deficit. Etc.
