ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said on Monday that the man who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump guaranteed his victory in the upcoming election.
Trump survived the attempt on his life by now-deceased 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks at his Saturday rally in Pennsylvania, with the former president pumping his fist as he departed with blood on his face after a bullet grazed his head. Smith on “The Stephen A. Smith Show” said his opinion is that this incident ensured Trump would win and that his legal cases would be terminated.

That needs to be Trump’s campaign theme…..no conspiracy theories about the SS setting him up. Let the House GOP and others do that.
Trump needs to focus on the failure of the Biden admin on securing the border, effective security, economic stewardship, etc.
These are all gov’t failures and the last one (the attempted assassination) is due to Biden appointing incompetent leaders who are incapable of fulfilling their fundamental duties.

I don’t think it is mere incompetence. I think it was an intentional act to look incompetent so they could go through with the assassination of a former President and current Presidential candidate.
Many people are involved, I am sure way high up the ladder and they know if DJT gets in office, they will be hunted down like the animals they are - I won’t be surprised if there are more attempts.

Re: the red wave; I am sure that the repubs will do everything in their power to help the Dims make sure that does not Happen. They did last time.
Howie Carr, columnist for the Boston Herald (Conservative tabloid), said that the other reporters used to call the sport columns the “toy department”. Still, it seems to me that injecting politics into sports is a losing business proposition. Sports is supposed to be a refuge from politics. When the St. George de Floyd/BLM hysteria was raging I essentially boycotted major league sports for two years. I am only just now slowly getting back in.
