I put these links in so people could access the story. The US Federal Government has made two claims that I feel are implausible. The first claim is that the shooter was 'acting' alone. That means, in less than 12 hours they have claimed to research every part of his life, his contacts, his past, where he has been, who he as been with, who he may have been speaking with on-line (including on xbox/game consoles), where he trained and were he got him ammunition. I find that implausible.
The second is even more serious. This is the statement, from multiple individuals with video, that the sniper was recognized minutes before. The first claim is that they didn't know falls out because of the video evidence. The second claim that they couldn't shoot until the sniper shot first is ludicrous. The third claim that they needed authority to shoot with someone with a rifle aimed at a POTUS is so stupid not to bother in conversation. The final 'it was local cop problem' makes zero sense because they outlined the building as a risk during walkthrough.
When you start to see the Government and the Media try to make things up as they go along, it's a cover-up. Plain and simple, something is wrong.
Well speculation is inevitable when the two government agencies involved will not hold a single press conference to address questions.
by the way....the fact that the FBI can’t access his phone obviously shows that he “wasn’t a loner”.

Sorry, not to be snarky...but it’s exactly the same.
They didn’t follow normal protocols. They will never admit to it, but...there was no centralized communication mechanism.
That’s a deviation from normal.
We know “why” they did that, but...we don’t know the official reasoning behind the undoubtedly huge chain of command who put that little nicety into place...

I don’t think the Secret Service has said that. The pundits have suggested they might say it after the investigation but that’s different.
What I don’t understand is how were they able to identify him so fast if he had no record or ID? They said DNA, but DNA takes time and you need a sample to compare it to. It seems to me that he must have been on their radar. But they won’t admit that yet. Or maybe they traced the rifle.

I saw three other people named as the shooter before Crook. Some claimed it was a Chinese shooter.

I don’t buy that. The shooter was dressed in sloppy civilian clothes, had no tactical gear or dress, had hair to his shoulders, didn’t have his weapon on a tripod or bipod and didn’t have a partner. With a high-power scope from 130 yards, the police officer was able to 100% ascertain all that. Anybody could have seen he was not LE or SS.
They may try to knock off Trump with another serrogate before resorting to the Seth Rich treatment.
just off the top of my head, they could have traced the firearm serial. (father purchased). Who would have the weapon, daddy dear? Father says son. DNA sample from father, then swab shooter for a match.
And how did the assassin know the best sniper nest was unsecured? He walked straight to that location unimpeded like he was part of a coordinated plan.
