We're seeing a LOT of anti-Trump Biden commercials. Not seeing Trump commercials.
They're doing about as good a job as possible branding Trump a felon and saddling him with Jan. 6.
This early negative branding of a politician can be disastrous. Whether they replace Biden or not, you have many who don't want to vote for Trump. And then if they do replace Biden, those voters will rush to vote Democrat.
I hope these commercials mean Biden well stay in. And it's Summer, many people don't care. But still.
All the current discussion makes it sound like the only problem is Biden's health.
People need reinforcement of the reasons to vote for Trump, and against the Democrat party.
Judge Marchan’s gag order may have done Trump a favor by teaching him restraint. Everything about that trial is so extremely unfair but I do not think it stops Trump from talking about Democrat policies, which is what he should be campaigning against.
The Trump campaign doesn’t need to waste money this early.
Let the Biden debate debacle play out on its own.
The trump ads are free and provided now free of charge 24/7 by the mom’s attacks on a senile old man!
“As Napoleon Bonaparte said: “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
Another I heard was don’t remove the shovel from the hand of the person that is burying himself.

Many of the Biden commercials I’ve heard are a strong endorsement for President Trump.
Anything with Biden in it is a Trump commercial :)
“Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes”.
I see them online and on local news.
In all sincerity I think most of the comments are delusional.
Biden ads don’t help Trump with the “swing voters”. If a person is susceptible to voting for Biden, they do not think like us.
I understand don’t interrupt the enemy when they are imploding. and that it’s early in the season.
Right now, Trump is permitting a narrative that he’s the danger, and the only thing wrong with democrats is that Biden is sick, dementia, etc.
Without creating an early negative against democrats and for Trump, it’s a set up for swing voters to return to democrats in droves.
At the very least some commercials showing Trump as a positive and reminding people of the border and inflation, would provide some support in the minds of those weak minded voters.
And yes, people watch television of all kinds.
Concur; the best result here would be that Biden refuses to quit. The Dem establishment, which loved him ten days ago and has now turned completely on him, will try to defund him by convincing large donors to withhold further contributions. Biden’s advantage is he ran in the primaries, won the delegates, earned the nomination and any resistance he puts up to leaving will make the party oligarchs look very bad.
Let ‘em burn money preaching to the choir. It’ll come down to the wishy-washy middle...and fraud. Are you seeing mire third party ads?

Not quite true. Some Boomers are still watching TV, but they are the only ones.
Of course, that's why they cheat.
It’s premature. We don’t even know yet who the Dem nominee will be.
What state are you in?
Who would he make commercials to campaign against now?
Even the Dems don’t know who they are going to run.
Campaign advertising in July is mostly a waste of money. I am seeing quite a number of Democrat campaign ads online. Let them waste their money.
People forget quickly. It is best to crank things up in September. Maybe August. Early voting in some States begins October, so two months of saturation advertising might be about right, starting in August.
Advertising will not change a single vote in net effect. People will vote based on their image of who they are and how closely that matches who they think the politicians are. But advertising will influence turnout and that is going to matter.
We can hope that a violent Democrat convention makes a large fraction of Democrats so disgusted that they stay home and do not vote. We had best not make similar mistakes at the Republican convention.
Issues do not really matter. We would like to believe they do, but elections regularly disprove this. What matters is that the politicians appear to be in some way what the voters believe themselves to be. Even better if that is really true.
I saw a pro-Trump commercial (about immigration) today while watching the Braves game on TV.
Good point. It's like a family with more than one brother - or even sisters.
They may bicker and fight amongst themselves, even resulting in the occasional bloody nose or fat lip. But as soon as some other kid starts trouble with one of them, they forget their spat and protect their sibling(s).
Biden wrote all of Trump’s commercials for him. No need to do anything but sit back, take in donations and let Biden speak.
