President Trump is scheduled to appear at his first event with his mystery Vice Presidential running mate later this month during the RNC Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Trump revealed last month that he would officially announce his running mate at some point during the RNC.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump also told reporters prior to his massive rally in Philadelphia last month that he had already made his decision and that he had not told anybody, including the next Vice President. "Nobody knows," said Trump.
According to later reports and rumors, Trump had narrowed his list of potential running mates to three candidates: North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, and Florida Senator Marco Rubio. However, it is unclear if this is accurate or mere speculation.
The July 18 event invitations read, "You are cordially invited to the Freedom First Event with the Nominee for Vice President and the 45th President of The United States Donald J. Trump before he formally accepts the presidential nomination."
Tickets range from $5,000 to $200,000, making this sure to be another massive fundraising haul for the Trump campaign.

Before heading to the RNC in Milwaukee, the Trump campaign also plans to hold two rallies next week: on July 9 in Doral, Florida, and on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania. Get tickets to the upcoming rallies here.

Burghum is a brilliant speaker, Ben Carson is not. I think it will be one of those two.
He’ll have to announce his pick at the convention. That’s how it works, and he may not know, with certainty, who he’s running against until the Democrats hold their convention, in August.
If it’s Rubio...Trump won’t live to see the end of his 1st year. Deep State will Kennedy him. Trump needs to take a page out of Biden’s book and get someone that scares the deep state even more.

I was wrong about Winsome Sears. I thought that she was born in the States of Jamaican parents. Turns out she was born in Jamaica so she’s not a natural born citizen of the USA and thus is Constitutionally barred from being POTUS.

If it is Rubio; he already has a residence in Washington DC…so if he is chosen he just declares his DC address as his home address. Should only take a few minutes.
He can change state residency before inauguration - so I’m told
A radio report of a week ago suggested Burgum was quietly all in with some Chinese land purchase in his home state. Not sure of the outcome.

There’s nothing compelling him to announce at the convention, but that is what is expected - and he won’t rock the boat without good reason. He will want to solidify his nomination and unify the party - selecting a running mate is part of that.
However. President Trump will be loathe to choose a running mate without knowing who is at the top of the Democrat ticket - he will delay as long as humanly possible if the Democrats have not decided whether it’s Biden, Harris or someone else.
Fortunately, the Democrats are desperate to unify their party. They will want to put an end to the post-debate chaos ASAP, so I doubt they will wait until their convention to nail down their ticket.
Same goes for Nikki Haley

Yeah, that would work smooth as silk. In just weeks one of them can easily change their official residence and the Democrats will put up no objection which would jam them up. Yeah, that would work... in the Alternate Universe.

I don’t think Trump would box himself in like that. Unless he makes a definitive announcement that someone is out, everyone is in, until he makes an official announcement. A mere absence from an event wouldn’t scratch someone off the list. There’s a thousand reasons a prospect wouldn’t be at this event. IMHO.
