I miss him so much.
“Too bad there is no one to take his place.”
I really miss the Rush from the ‘90s before he ditched the parodies, etc.
I think if you combine Dan Bongino with Steve Bannon, that could be some”one” to take his place. (I’m happy Bongino took that time slot where we live.)
I would’ve liked to have heard his analyses of and comments on the recent SCOTUS rulings. His stack of stuff would’ve been clear up to the ceiling. So much so that I think he might have gone into an EIB “Hour Four” as he sometimes did.
Miss him tremendously, especially now. Can we even imagine what he would be saying about the current mainstream media backpedaling?
Nope. Neither Bongino or Bannon can hold Rush’s jock. Rush had the gift of prescience. Block heads Bongino and Bannon? Not so much.
Nobody and I mean NOBODY, could move the needle like Rush. Not even Trump. I sorely miss Rush. He was special.
Opinions ... you know...
heh heh too funny
Very good point!
Rush would have loved seeing the collapse of not only Biden but DIE, the Clintons and possibly the MSM.
Amen brother
Oh man, yes, he would have had the all-time best shows over this.
Rush would say they are doing this on purpose and claiming plausible deniability. They didn’t know Joe was this bad. WOW.
You should have never written that. Rush was not a perfect man in many ways, but he had nothing to do with creating this mess. Democrats and corrupt Republicans did, not Rush. Go away.
I’d love a Trump ad with an optimistic Rush voice over. That would make the left insane.
The other day Mr Vaskypilot and I were discussing how Rush could have a parody on Kamala to the tune of “How do you stop a problem like Maria” from the Sound of Music.
I would recommend the Wilkow Majority on Sirius XM.
He’s not Rush, but he’s good!
He embodied excellence. Which we desperately need now.
Yep. Wilkow fills in the time slot nicely.
Even before Rush left us, I would often bounce back between the two — when one went to commercial, I would switch to the other until he went to commercial.
I like Wilkow a lot. He has a grasp of the issues and always brings a constitutional perspective to the discussion.
...
Wilkow has been at the top of my list for years. He is engaging, fact-filled, very witty, and as you note pulls in the Constitution where possible. He has never wavered from his beliefs, and while this isn’t a big thing he has punk rock street cred which makes him pretty genuine IMHO.
Wilkow also walks the walk: married, two daughters, goes to the range often. While I’m sure people will quarrel, and nobody is perfect, in contrast Rush was hardly a beacon personally. Four marriages and a trip to rehab. Put that resume on a leftist DJ and people on this board would have a field day. Rush got kid glove treatment, and people fell all over themselves with excuses.
Parenthetically, not withstanding that people can multitask, doesn’t anyone work from noon to 3pm?
