The founders made mistakes which were later badly amended. Even the 14th Amendment was vague and unclear which has led to hundreds of court decisions that leave one thing abundantly clear:
Any US citizen over 35 is eligible to be president.
(Any US citizen over 35 is eligible to be president.)
No! It’s ANY natural born Citizen over 35 is eligible to be president, not Citizen! A Citizen and natural born Citizen are not the same.
