I read the article elsewhere before published here on FR. I was aware of the Chinese and Microsoft issues long before this and are prime concerns. On the surface he seems great, but digging into past issues turns on red flashing lights and sirens.
People seem to think Tulsi is a great pick and are willing to overlook her past as a die hard commie. I don’t think Burgum is a diehard commie, but he does have flaws in his past - are people willing to overlook those flaws?
It’s interesting how people think. Noem is out because she shot a vicious dog that if taken to a vet would have met the same end results.
No matter who Trump picks there will be infighting here at FR. And no matter who Trump picks, that person could be another Pence 2.0.

My dream candidate is Sarah Sanders but I expect to be disappointed.
I still believe that DJT & DeSantis were playing the dems. But I also recognize the value of a female VP, though I’m rather undecided. Perhaps DeSantis is already assured a significant cabinet post.

Burgum is tightly connected to academia and does not support accountability measures of any worth for colleges and universities. Do research on his actions in North Dakota relative to those issues. He just manipulated the firing of the Chancellor of the system up there because the Chancellor was trying to push more stringent accountability for the largest institutions and reduce budgets because of declining enrollments.
DJT might do just as well as walking into the crowd at one of his rallies and picking someone at random for his VP pick, everyone in DC has a tonne of silly baggage it seems.

IMHO I think that this guy and Scott are not true believers and nothing more than opportunists. Say the right things just to get the votes, then once in office, they will just “play the game”.
