O’Reilly Says Biden Is Done, But Democrats Have a Problem
Independent Sentinel ^ | July 1, 2024 | M DOWLING

Posted on 07/01/2024 7:42:13 AM PDT by Red Badger

Bill O’Reilly said definitively that Joe Biden is “done.” He claims the White House doesn’t know how or when to make the announcement. Bill also said that internal polling shows that he cannot win.

He wrote something on his site, but he didn’t provide evidence. It seems to be something he heard through his sources.

Then he said something that greatly annoys me. James Buchanan was the worst president, and Biden was the second worst.

“The cowardly James Buchanan is the worst president in American history for helping the South build rebellion before the Civil War,” O’Reilly said. “But Joe Biden is the second worst because he’s created terrible problems for all of us.”

O’Reilly has a BA in history from Marist and says he’s a historian. Biden is turning us into Marxists. He’s flooding the border with foreigners who are permanently changing our nation, and as a special bonus, he is damaging our economy irrevocably. He’s the worst, but it’s true: Buchanan was terrible.

Speculating?

Is Bill speculating?

Frankly, I don’t see Hunter or Jill letting Joe resign. Joe’s ego is tied to the presidency. it would take a lot to get him to resign.

In the CBS poll today, 55% of Democrats want him to stay in, and the NY Times blamed Biden’s poor debate performance on Ron Klain, Bob Bauer, Anita Dunn, and his advisors. The creative rewriting of history has begun, which suggests they will keep him.

The DNC would like him gone, along with the media, but it might not happen. Maybe Bill is right and does have the inside track.

However, there is pressure on him to go.

We’ll find out soon enough.

“He wrote something on his site, but he didn’t provide evidence.”

Someone on the internet saying something without having evidence to back it up.

I find that very hard to believe.

BOR still doesn’t get it and often sides with the unconstitutional portion of the Federal Gov’t, the best friend the Dems and Left ever had.

The thing is, if Bill O’Reilly is right, he scooped everyone, but if he’s wrong, people will forget about it as this wild election trucks on.

A problem? BOR is a democrat so he is confused

The Dems problem is this:

They are going to have to cede to Rump

The U.S. is done with the Dems usurpation of the Declaration of Independence

They have no one better than Biden to run as this position is as old and feeble as Joe himself

He loves it when Americans get killed in wars.

That is why Woodrow Wilson and LBJ are not on his “worst presidents” list.

[Frankly, I don’t see Hunter or Jill letting Joe resign. Joe’s ego is tied to the presidency. it would take a lot to get him to resign.]

People keep bringing up third parties irrelevant to the decision making process. Rulers don’t quit. Almost without exception, they are pushed. They have killed sons, fathers and siblings rather than give up power. Asking Joe to quit because he’s behind is like asking a Lotto ticket holder to give up his ticket because he’s only got a 45% chance of winning. With apologies to Charlton Heston, rival Democrats are gonna hafta pry that nomination out of Joe’s cold dead hands.

The idea that Jill is gonna persuade Joe to quit the race is ridiculous. What queen has ever told her king to abdicate? What king has ever abdicated without a sword at his throat? Maybe if the penalty for not stepping down, then losing, is execution.

In the world’s oldest parliamentary democracy, the record is clear - just about every Prime Minister ever to hold office ended up evicted, rather than stepped down voluntarily. Margaret Thatcher was forced out by John Major. Tony Blair was turfed by Gordon Brown. And these are two of the most popular British politicians within living memory. There’s a reason for Enoch Powell’s observation “All political lives, unless they are cut off in midstream at a happy juncture, end in failure, because that is the nature of politics and of human affairs.”

Biden won’t leave until he grants Hunter a Full Pardon......whether he said he would not is not an issue.

Is he talking about resigning or announcing that he won’t seek another term? With only a few months left and no appetite for Harris I don’t think anyone expects Biden to step down now. The latter there is obviously a precedent for in LBJ and Truman who decided not to run again.

I don’t think we will know for sure until the announcement is made. BOR like the rest of us is entitled to speculate all we want in the meantime.

Dem leaders knew this scenario existed long ago. If you think there’s not already a plan in place, you are sadly miscalculating the opposition.

Expect that those two didn’t decline to run two months before their convention.

If you think there’s not already a plan in place, you are sadly miscalculating the opposition.

"A" plan. That's where I think you're wrong. Three kinds of people vote democrat: Tyrant Wannabes, Freeloaders, and the Stupid. The tyrant wannabes hold all the levers of power, and while they agree to work together (held in place ruthlessly in public by the self-styled elite of their criminal organization), behind the scenes they are all about gaining and maintaining power.

So, for some who are tied directly and inescapably to Joe Biden (e.g. Jill Biden, Hunter Biden), they will never agree to withdraw. But those who would no longer benefit from a Joe Biden presidency, or who at least think they can get a better share of power from someone else, will desert that sinking ship in a heartbeat.

So there are at least two plans: 1) Keep Joe Biden in office, and 2) Get behind someone else and throw him under the bus. Both plans have been in work, even though they are at cross purposes.

Self-styled elite in the second camp include Obama, Hillary, Newsome, and Whitmer, at least. I am amused by those who think the absolute commitment to rule-breaking - if that is necessary for power - won't be enough to handle the 'committed' delegates and 'name on the ballot' issues. They totally threw out the Constitution (which says that only the Legislatures can change election rules) in order to steal the 2020 election. Why wouldn't they do whatever it takes to change candidates (when a lot of the rules to be broken are not even in the Constitution)?

The convention rules committee can “uncommit” the “committed” delegates in five minutes.

Joe’s ego is tied to the presidency. it would take a lot to get him to resign.

Not just ego, the checks for "The Big Guy" from the Chicoms and Ukes would immediately stop. The Biden Crime Family does not want that.

The convention rules committee . . .

Yep. Or 'impute' that they really meant to be committed to some other specific candidate.

James Buchanan. Woodrow Wilson. LBJ. Then finally Joe Biden.

Perhaps by now, Jimmy Carter is no longer in top 5, thanks to Joe Biden.
