I am not sure how it happens, but Trump needs women to drop Biden. They don’t necessarily need to vote for Trump, although that would be ideal. Just don’t vote for Biden. I hope they aren’t tapped into their emotions to keep them (mainly suburban women) voting for the DEMs. Abortion still looms as a big pull for the DEMs.
Now the question is, how long will this last? Remember that George W. Bush was very popular right after 9/11, then a few years later voters elected a homosexual muslim to replace him.

It doesn’t matter if he was having a “good day” this morning, 50 million+ saw with their own eyes what he is like on a “bad day” and it will only get worse with each passing day, since Biden is not getting any younger and older people often decline rapidly.
What people saw last night was the difference between reality and the parallel universe the media has been presenting to them.

Agreed. That’s why I favor a likable, smart conservative woman as Trump’s VP. Is that identity politics? You betcha. Everything will be on the line this November. Let’s cover as many bases as we can.
Yes, Democrats are screwed. Progressives leading the party are stuck with Biden, moderates can jump to Trump or skip the vote. How are any of them going to get any enthusiasm for Biden? And young people, one of my 16-year olds watched it with me, he ended up laughing at Biden, totally dismissive. But asked if he was 18 if he’d vote for Trump, it was No. He’s got no where to go for the moment. Harris won’t help.
Biden can still read - though we have heard him read the word PAUSE from the teleprompter and then continue, instead of stopping his speech for a few seconds as intended.
