I had my watch stolen on the beach once.
It was wrapped up in my towel and we were out in the water. When we got out to dry it was gone...............

“How about arresting, prosecuting and locking up criminals?” one user wrote on Instagram. What a novel idea. Do you think it could work? 🤔

Police Are Urging Beachgoers to Take Their Valuables Into The Ocean... How do we know this is really a message from the police?
Could very well be a crafty sneaky message from the just-off-the-beach sharks.

It used to be your stuff would not be stolen in America, we parked with our car windows down and doors unlocked and things left on the seats, bicycles left places and were still there when we got around to getting them, windows at home left open all day and car keys left in the car in the drive way, guns on display in the living room in fancy gun cabinets or in the wooden gun rack your kid proudly made in wood shop, and still with all those open windows and unlocked doors.

Drones with coconuts.
A thief starts to steal, you drop the coconut on his noggin.
Bonk!
Identify the thieves by the knots on their heads.

They have told people for decades to never lock your vehicles when you park at the beaches out there, because the ice heads and the vagrants will just bust the windows out and look for stuff to steal.
It’s been a thief’s haven for decades.
So, keep all of your valuables at your condo, and leave your car unlocked, and don’t go too far from the beach, it kind of takes away from the “tropical paradise” vacation myth, but at least you won’t lose your stuff, and be on the hook for a broken rental car window. (read the fine print folks)
