Most Canadians have no history of their own fall from the blessings of liberty at the hands of progressives beginning with Lester Pearson back in the early 1960s. Their native accomplishment is making sure that their military officer corps are 100% bilingual so they can die in two languages.
I am not apologizing for the whining from Caunckistan, just pointing out that they are actually what Biden and his henchmen want US to become, ruled entirely by socialist civility and political correctness.
Canada's fall from grace began when it disposed of the flag under which Canada's ancestors fought to help defeat the Nazis, the British Naval Ensign. They substituted an iconic social engineering rag with the blood red of communists on a white blanket of snow.Canadians did not fight and die in WWII for the crap that is now being foisted on Canada's somnolent population.All of them are asleep except those who organized and /or supported the Freedom Convoy.
Canadians should be angry when they encounter free speech on FR, they do not have it at home.So we are Cognito Ergo Sum, bullies for speaking our minds. If you are bullied here Canadians, its simply because you do not comprehend the essence of the 1st amendment.We need no referees to exercise it.Some how Canadians mostly think that Freedom of Speech must be regulated.That's why the Criminal Code of Canada defines “hate speech.” Call the wrong Frenchman a frog in public and you can go to jail.That's not freedom of speech yet Canadians readily cow themselves and accept it.

May Free Republic continue to awaken Canadians to genuine Freedom of Speech, which most of them cannot take.If that is painful, we are simply doing a damned good job.Maybe one day the whole of Canada will support the Freedom Convoy as a legitimate political party.

I only know of a couple who take the Biden/Nuland stance on things, but I believe those are Ukrainians living in Canada, not true Canadians.

Thanks for the history lesson. I googled the British Naval Ensign. They should have kept it. IMHO it’s more inspiring than a red maple leaf.
Canada has the Freedom Convoy. We have MAGA. Thank God there are still people who know what freedom is and are willing to fight for it.
People here should face the fact that there is a problem with "fake news" and "misinformation" and that they are the primary cause of it.
