The list of everyday necessities the climate fanatics at The Washington Post choose to complain about as enemies of Gaia continues to grow at an exponential rate.
The Post threw a fit over the upcoming Olympic Games “taking a farcical turn” against Paris organizers’ supposed commitment to maintaining the “greenest Olympics” ever. The Athletes Village was supposed to not have air conditioning (AC) in the rooms because other eco-friendly cooling measures will be used, whined the leftist rag. However, The Post cried, “portable air-conditioning units will be everywhere. Wheeled in. Shipped in. Ordered by visiting countries that want their athletes to sleep well and perform at the highest level — even if it means a larger carbon footprint.” How dare athletes seek to maximize comfort between rounds of the brutal physical exertion that defined the Olympic Games since time immemorial, right Washington Post?
Talk about blowing a bunch of hot air.

The “greenest Olympic games ever” were certainly in antiquity.
The very idea of making that a primary concern over athletic performance, however, is idiotic.
Oh well, won’t be watching a single minute anyway, again.
Just cancel the whole freaking thing. The leftists have spent many years ruining the Olympics.
People have quit tuning in to this political BS mess.
Paris can sometimes get very hot. Years ago scores of elderly people died in their apartments one summer because they lived in older buildings and had no air conditioning.
Air conditioning for me, not thee
When the post shuts off their air conditioning for the employees this summer I will seriously consider their complaints about the Olympics
Paris in late July/August is not just hot but also humid; denying athletes the respite of AC is both cruel and self-defeating if you expect “Olympics” worthy performances.
The Olympics used to be cool. But now the best thing we can do is to ignore it. Maybe the Olympics will collapse on its own. Nations are no longer bidding to host the games.

Hmm...world-class athletes don’t need air conditioning, journalists do. Got it.
Their climate change is just the new name for their FAILED global warming
A bit of sabotage of the AC system in the WaPo building seems to be in order. Make them live their words.
“ Years ago scores of elderly people died in their apartments one summer because they lived in older buildings and had no air conditioning”
Far more than scores. In August 2003, in a two week period 15,000 people died from the heat in Paris. They were mostly elderly who were left home in upper floor apartments with no air conditioning. Their families went on vacation leaving them food and water but nothing that could overcome that intense heat.
Olympic athletes need air-conditioning. I would bet that celebrities attending the Olympics in Paris will be staying at hotels with full air-conditioning.
It would be a hoot if someone were to sabotage or destroy their AC system.
Walk the walk hypocrites, walk the walk.
(As we Christians say in the South, don’t just talk the talk, walk the walk.)

The Olympics need to be ratcheted down to track and field and other Martial exhibitions as originally planned. Athelites could also compete naked for more authenticity.
The 3rd Reich inspired pageantry needs to stop as well.
Air conditioning is one of the greatest inventions ever.
