Is there a copy of the correspondence from the NY Supreme Court about this?

He’ll lose that smirk when he stands before God.

No doubt. He, along with all the rest of the scum bags, will be speechless.

What really surprised me about the actions of NY v Trump is that Trump. with over 60 years of running construction projects in NY, employing thousands of people, with a network of connections miles long couldn’t get out of this? It is almost as if he set this up so he could be the victim of governmental persecution. Leveraging that with the black community in NYC they find a kindred spirit and sympathetic figure in Trump.

Merchan sat a jury that pretended they haven’t been tainted by pre-trial publicity.

We live in NYS.

Hubby and I haven’t gotten a jury summons in years and we’re way overdue.

Wonder if my being a Trump donor, which is easily available public info, has anything to do with that...?

See where I’m going with this?

“It would seem that they decided together on a verdict prior to retiring to deliberate.”

Let’s face it; they had decided on a verdict prior to voir dire. Maybe not “together”, but each one knew how he’d vote, and the prosecution did, too. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been there.

“Reminds me of early Gotti era cases where a juror or juries were bought off.”

I don’t think these necessarily bought off. They’re true believers in their commie cause. They did it for free — happily.

“the jury should be gagged too by being sequestered the whole trial.”

Considering that they, and everyone on the Prosecution side, are scofflaws, sequestering would not have helped. They’d have had MSNBC in their rooms 24/7, and would have been 100% accessible by the lawyers and lawyers’ minions. It would’ve been a joke.

Somebody related to a juror leaked the decision to convict Trump before the verdict was read in court.

Has it been verified that the FB poster is indeed related to one of the jurors? Or is he just an internet troll?

“I assume he ment gitmo...?”

I believe he did. Myself, I vote they cool their heels at Alcatraz until their respective Doomsdays. Gitmo is too tropical. Alcatraz, OTOH, is cold, windy, probably haunted, and surrounded by angry water. All it would take is a little remodeling.

“The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” ... credited to Mark Twain, but not Mark Twain.

People stricken with TDS tend to be ignorant and/or stupid (generally true of Democrats). It is entirely plausible this Michael Anderson guy actually did have this conversation with his cousin juror but lacked the mental capacity to remain quiet about it.

this merchan weasel

imho is the one who forced the jury into a guilty verdict

with his jury instructions that turned the word unanimous on its head

and is trying to divert attention away from it

he knows trump will win

and doesn’t want to be charged with his crime and prosecuted after trump takes office

spit

Wow, this is hugh and series! No outsider ever, should have access to the jury? Are jurors not instructed to refrain from outside discussions of the case?
