President Trump revealed during an interview Sunday morning that he prepared to go to jail, a possibility he is okay with.
Trump was a guest on Fox and Friends Weekend to speak out about his disgraceful conviction when co-host Pete Hegseth inquired about the possibility of crooked Judge Juan Merchan throwing behind bars.
As The Gateway Pundit readers know, Trump is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11, three days before the GOP convention.
Trump told Hegseth he was okay with it and went on to say, “You don’t beg for anything.”
This means that despite facing months, if not years, behind bars, Trump is fully ready and will not demand special treatment. How many other politicians can say that?

He’s 80 years old, or so. The one benefit of being 80 is that you have lived your full life and there isn’t anything they can take away at this point.
But yes, he should get the nomination before he is sentenced.
Let’s take a quick count of hands for those of us who accept Trump being put in a prison cell after a banana republic kangaroo court lawfare travesty.

I disagree. I am now 79 and Trump is about to turn 79. We are both Geminis born in 1946.
Just as teenagers think 35 year olds are impossibly ancient and to be disregarded, and other people want older people to be set aside and given a chair to sit on while a holiday or other party is going on, it is wrong to think all older people are wrecks like Biden.
We are not.
Trump has made billions more from all of this through Truth Social. Would you go to jail for a year for a few billion? Most people might.

Who knows, that might just be the spark. My dad always said to fear the quiet ones. Our side is surprisingly quiet/peaceful, for now. There’s this thing I’ve seen on tik toc about the gen x folks trying to get together. That’s probably the only generation that gives a hoot about our country anymore, at least enough to fight for it.

I don’t mean it that way. It’s just that you have had your career. You get to keep your pension. Your kids have grown and are reaching their potentials.
I don’t mean to be insulting but, if I was where you were, it just wouldn’t be the worse thing to go to prison. I think having a criminal record is worse when you’re young, because you get locked out of opportunities in society during the time when you should be reaching your potential.
I’m just saying that, if you were fated to go to prison anyway than it is better to go when you’ve done everything a person is supposed to then when you haven’t done everything that you are supposed to.

I was sort of surprised, too. Works to our advantage. We’ll see about Merchan sending Trump to prison——God forbid.
I think the reason Biden canceled his speech was not just because focus groups said gloating and rubbing it in was unpresidential, but the FBI and other DOJ informants told his handlers the Deplorables are not going to be rioting. Called off the SWAT tanks to mow us all down and laid off the extra help at the secret gulags around all the countrysides.

I expect President Trump to dare the so-called judge to jail him. If Trump can maintain his victim status and get sentenced to jail, he will waltz into the White House.
It's not the GOP, it's the RNC and his daughter-in-law Lara Trump is in charge.
They need to move up the convention and nominate President Trump virtually (like Biden) so that Merchan is put in the position of imprisoning the legally nominated candidate of the opposition party.
That would put Merchan beyond "banana republic," it would be Stalinist.
And Merchan is just an "Acting Justice," an interim judge who was appointed to the bench to fill a temporary need. Talk about acting up, Merchan is swinging for the bleachers here!

It depends on what “not accepting” that outcome looks like.
Thanks to the J6 persecutions, I suspect if “not accepting” looks like having to do anything more than vent on internet forums, most will begrudgingly “accept” it.
