I always thought that people would grow muscles, applied tattoos, utter threats, and started grabbing their M4 carbines as per 2nd Amendment, but the Jan6 events changed all that. A2 has lost its appeal ever since the prospect of having to fight Biden’s F-15s. The Founding Fathers had it all wrong. They could not predict modern warfare against the people.

It wouldn’t happen like that. The Fed depends on State and Local backup and logistics to conduct their raids. They don’t have the depth or breadth to conduct those kinds of operations on a wide scale for an extended period. They’d have to do like they’re doing now. Show raids where certain individuals are made examples of.
They also depend on a compliant populace, whether that compliance is tacit acceptance, willing assistance or silence. I think they’d not get much of any of that in a LOT of places.
