I told my husband back in 2020 that TPTB won’t let Trump into office again. I never thought they’d be this transparent and audacious, but they truly don’t GAF about what the American ppl want. Their lust for power is all consuming and relentless. I hope they all rot in Hell.
The peaceful transition of power, equality under the law, and the ordered civilization of the Republic is what used to make America different from any other nation on earth.
I was driving past a field of flags last night, a leftover from Memorial Day. The thought struck me, that all of those who sacrificed, fought, died for those ideals - as of this day they have died for nothing. By even indicting Trump, let alone convicting and sentencing, the current regime have utterly squandered the full endowment of American Exceptionalism as Reagan’s shining city on the hill.
The times when the world could be roiled in strife, corruption, and evil but could still look to the United States as the light of humanity - that’s done.
