The the jury was given the liberty to select from three main options, effectively turning the process into a choose-your-own-adventure game of legal implications.

Violations of federal election law (which no one in that courtroom is familiar with, and the judge specifically prevents Brad Smith from testifying about); The falsification of business records; and Tax violations

The appellate court will almost immediately have sufficient reason to stay the imposition of any sentence!

Pray that keeps PDJT entirely out of the “tender care” of NY Department of Corrections guards.

Screw all of these people - Bragg, Merchan and the jury. There is no excuse for this complete miscarriage of justice. This is a kangaroo court, and if the next level of state court, or the federal courts, don’t fix this quickly, then it will prove that we have no judicial system worth discussing.

Unless there is a federal law issue, the SCOTUS has no say. It is the NY state courts that will hear the appeal.
