It’s retaliation for unapproved speech. If he completed all courses necessary to receive his diploma, they can’t legally withhold it from him. Living in a free society actually means something. I hope they sue the school district for violating his rights.
Between sanitized student speeches, woke visiting speakers, and unruly attendees, graduation ceremonies are no longer worth attending. Same could be said for proms.
