CNN’s data analyst Harry Enten delivered some bad news for Democrats and the Biden campaign in regard to former President Trump’s approval numbers being affected by the NYC criminal trial.
The sham trial does not affect public opinion about Trump at all.
The trial was meant to make Trump look toxic to the public, but unfortunately for Democrats, it’s not.

There’s no new news being divulged in the trial that people didn’t already know and accept about Trump.
Succinctly, that's election interference.
Scores of millions of American citizen-voters see it.
It's been and being expressed by Dem leaders, donors and operatives in many, many ways.
Charges of sedition will follow in 2025-2028.
If he is convicted, the media will be euphoric for days and won’t stop talking about it until November. “Trump now a convicted felon.” We don’t yet know how this will affect swing voters. We will have to look at what the polls are saying after the media hoopla dies down a bit at the end of June.
They created the backfire, they can stew in it.
Unless one is already a hater of Trump, all a sham guilty verdict will do is cause swing voters to sympathize with Trump.
