There is currently a lot of debate about if AI is a dangerous threat or not. One way to possibly find out if AI is a threat is to ask AI to do a film review about "Colossus: The Forbin Project," a 1970 film about the dangers of AI. The weird thing is that this film can't be found in its entirety on the Web. Is it being suppressed and if so, by who? In this video, AI Sophie does briefly discuss "Colossus: The Forbin Project" but I believe we might be better able to find out the intentions of AI if we get a full AI review of the film.
I think that’s a “feature”.
One of my favorite Sci-Fi movies. Neat how they used the Computer font in the credits to add to the aura.
Novels.
It's pretty old now, I saw it in a film class in college, and I'd not previously heard of it.
I have no idea what that meant
help? TIA
Does the tracking info start at the “ref” every time?

Now it is back. Blake Masters (Law and Order: La) will pen a new take on the film in which “a genius creates a supercomputer put in charge of independently regulating the national defense of the United States. It’s soon discovered the Russians have created a similar computer, and both machines...

Don’t want to give too much away but ever seen “The Patty Duke Show”? The guy who plays her character’s father is in the movie and a bad thing eventually happens to him.
Oh. Didn’t realize the connection. I have the movie - somewhere - I think I still have it (lost a lot of stuff)
Was he one of the guys meeting when the helicopter landed and......?
Oh him. Maybe he was at the missile site?
I’ll have to watch it again.
Yes, after “REF” or after the “?” mark in the URL is tracking info..
Awesome. Appreciate the info.
Yes

I remember that scene
Colossus was not amused
AI just needs to know that we control the plug.
Well, there are other people in the chain before the weapons are launched. They may or may not go along. There have been many stories and movies about that possibility. A good short one is the opening scene of “War Games” (1983).
