Former President Donald Trump told News 12 New Jersey’s Tara Rosenblum that neoconservative primary opponent Nikki Haley will “absolutely” be “on our team in some form,” following his successful Bronx rally in New York on Thursday.
A self-appointed bête noire of the MAGA movement, Haley and her donors have been attempting to position her for Vice President or another senior position in Trump’s cabinet should he win in November 2024.

Maybe she can make coffee in the morning.
Haley is popular with many Republicans for some reason and she is actually a pretty effective person in the right position as long as she is implementing Trumps decisions and not in charge of the overall policy..
She is good a few slots down from being the top level decision maker but one thing that she is demonstrated is that she is absolutely not capable of being the President in charge of running the country.
She does make a great UN Ambassador. She would be a great Transportation Secretary.
Or are easily manipulated to make bad decisions. What makes it worse is the individual’s inability to recognize they are/were wrong in making that decision.
I said awhile back, send her back to the UN about a month before we kick them out of New York.
Chief Knife Holder…..she’ll have his back.
even though her committee is still schmoozing liberal powerhouses? Trump doesn’t need her- she will contribute nothing to his presidency-she needs him- He woudl do well to forget all about her-
I’m sure Trump is joking. People like Haley have no place in what is coming in the next several years. Everything we are seeing publicly right now is just kabuki theatre anyway. The trials, the fake Biden stumbling around, the pretending there’s going to be an election in November, the world war fear porn. At some point soon there are going to be a lot of shock faced Freepers.
Antarctica would keep her and the GOP establishment riff-raff out of trouble and out of sight.
Please post the punchline ...
Do not trust Haley at all. Deep State plant. I could advise the President on people hires better than his team. Must keep RINO & Deep State plants out of his administration!
I love how Pres Trump plays the media, like a fine violin.
Maestro level.
:)
That’s my point.
I’d say that in 2016 most of us on FR were much more aware of USA pols than Trump was. When he appointed those people, we generally had no objections. If WE didn’t know they were bums, how was HE supposed to know? As I said, he was flim-flammed. And so we’re we.
Hopefully, Trump is finally realizing that he can’t win this election unless he targets other groups besides his base. He has to reach out to suburban women if he’s going to have a chance in states such as Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and he has to win at least one of those states.
In order to prevent any further damage, the back stabbing skank will be assigned a menial position in the administration. If she were VP, she’d be in charge of changing the urinal cakes in the Senate mens rooms.
“That was the worst mistake of Reagan’s presidency. “
Yes. It gave GHWBush a “third Reagan admin” position he did not earn and did not deserve and his trade policies vis-a-vis Mexico and his gafs aided the campaigns of BJ Clinton and Ross Perot.
Though GHWBush was a “deep stater” I think the Dims, even knowing that, did not trust he would remain loyal to that.
The thing I understood most and hated the most about GHWBush was he acted as if he thought his many past Fed Gov roles meant HE DESERVECD to be POTUS (like he had punched all the necessary notches on his “experience” dance card). And to him that mattered more than anything in particular he thought he should do.
Then we went through the duopoly years of his son GWBush, followed again by his family trying to excert the idea that one of them deserved the GOP POTUS nod again.
That period is when I develpped my conviction that I do not believe political family dynasties should ever be rewarded in American politics.
Most of them were good when picked but soured over time.
