The entire Blood on the Tracks album still blows me away.

For a guy born in the Iron Range, he sure produced a LOT of gold.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned ‘Mr.Tambourine Man’ yet... the poetry is so strong in that one I’ve seen it in an English Lit. anthology.

Probably because most associate that song with The Byrds. I think it’s a testament that so many cover songs of Dylan became much more well-known than Bob’s versions, like Jimi’s “All Along The Watchtower”.

When I was 14 in ‘74, I played Blood on the Tracks over and over again... I was obsessed with it... every time I listened to it, I picked up something new... truly a great album if any of his are...

A song that gets more relevant with each passing day.

True.. just like 'My Back Page's... another great Byrds cover of a sublime lyric. That line 'I was so much older than, I'm younger than that now' is probably my favorite Dylan line.

His son Jesse, who he wrote that for, is now 58... he’s a film director.

If I was to narrow down to a favorite Dylan song, ‘My Back Pages’ would probably top the list.
