I’ve always asked, “Given the long lead time we seem to have on the rising oceans, why aren’t we, NOW, starting to move our major cities 10 miles inland?”

If it is going to happen anyway, why not just take the time to move everything?

Probably because in 50 years or so, as has happened in the past, so called scientists will change their opinions, and say the oceans are receding.
