Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City and stalwart defender of law and order, was served with an Arizona indictment during his 80th birthday event in Palm Beach on Friday.
The indictment, issued by a state grand jury in Arizona, has indicted GOP state legislators, former Arizona GOP chairwoman Kelli Ward, and others who acted as alternate electors for Trump in 2020.
It was announced by Arizona’s Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes. Critics have labeled Mayes’ actions as part of a broader Democratic strategy to intimidate and silence opposition ahead of the 2024 general election.
“We conducted a thorough and professional investigation over the past 13 months into the fake electors scheme in our state,” Arizona’s Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes said in a video announcing the charges.

Why didn’t Rudy contact the office? Do you think he knew he was going to be served?
There’s certainly been enough reporting on this that he would have known. Several service attempts were made in New York, he would almost certainly have ben told of those. I don’t know why he didn’t arrange with them for service at a more discreet time and place.
These are the actions of people who think they are untouchable.

I said "Maybe he wanted them to show up...". It was a suggestion, not a statement of fact, which you obviously took it for.
There is no "legal system" in the United States of Banana any longer.

I took it for a statement or suggestion of your opinion on the subject. Which do you think is the likelier scenario, that this was all part of some plan of his as you suggested, or that he tried to avoid being served and it caught up with him? He could have contacted their office and arranged service at a more suitable time and place, why didn’t he do that?
I have no idea. Only Rudy knows. It just seems rather strange that within two hours of him posting his tweet, they arrive at a private home where the owner is holding a birthday party for him.
He tweeted from the party, which gave his location away. The Attorney General’s office would then have reached out to the County Sherriff’s office which as I understand it is the authority that handles such matters. Not that surprising. He let his ego get the better of him.

He was a great prosecutor, a great lawyer, a great mayor, and is a great man. The Dems reveal more about themselves than a million indictments could ever reveal about Giuliani, Trump, or anyone associated with them. Low, mendacious, mean-spirited phonies. They are not fit to shine Rudy’s shoes.
