Why didn’t Rudy contact the office? Do you think he knew he was going to be served?
There’s certainly been enough reporting on this that he would have known. Several service attempts were made in New York, he would almost certainly have ben told of those. I don’t know why he didn’t arrange with them for service at a more discreet time and place.
