Donald Trump is wrong on this count. The F.B.I. should have its HQ somewhere in the Center of the United States as far away from the politics of Washington D.C. as possible.
It’s bad enough that the present hive of corrupt administrators are capable of communicating their conspiracy’s via Internet and telephone system.

I think the entire federal government should move to Kansas City. And Washington DC can become an idyllic Park full of old structures and statues and museums. Sure would make Northern Virginia a more pleasant location.

They have field offices all over the country. Some are more corrupt than others. By having HQ dead center DC, the feds will have skin in the game to clean up crime in their neighborhood.
They know who the gangbangers are. It just doesn’t affect them on their commute from the Maryland and Virginia suburbs to their cushy office outside DC. They will be inclined to use the Metro.

The FBI has 56 field offices. There should be a main office right in DC...but not the massive mess that exists now.
