Mister Trump could so help himself by being much, much more presidential and wise and thoughtful before opining or acting.

More presidential? More wise and thoughtful? You’re describing perfectly the type of personality and the kind of politician that has damn near ruined this country. No, what we need is a leader who doesn’t give damn about the BS you’re so concerned about. Exactly what do you mean by the terms “presidential” and “wise and thoughtful”? And name for us a few people who you believe exemplify those wonderful virtues.

Yeah buddy! President Trump showed up at Daytona and couldn't be heard over the overwhelming cheers. When he made like he was going to climb into the pole car the crowd went totally ape-shit. Shortly after the usurpation the NASCAR culture started the "Let's go Brandon" thing.
Yes, racing has given into to PC culture too much and has hurt itself with too much enforced technological conformity...but the spirit of patriotism seems to remain alive and well.

Ronald Reagan is the president to whom I hold the highest respect. Ike Eisenhower, perhaps before your time, is another.
Much of the electorate is poorly informed, and votes on the basis of feelings and visual impact. Sadly so, but if we (and I mean we) want to win, we need to attract as many voters as possible.
