A plumber from New York City came to work for our regular plumber. He was so rude and nasty we referred to him, in his absence, as Mr. Grump.

But we continued to be nice to him, as any decent person would.

After a couple of years, he began to become...well...almost not disgusting.

Now it's been about ten years. He's downright pleasant, even smiles occasionally.

*sigh*... Yeah... The moniker started out on AOL back in the 90’s... It was more of a gamer tag than anything...
