If you are up on the latest trends in academia, you’ll know that “institutional neutrality” is in the news as more universities consider or adopt it. In my view, this is a good thing, as it maintains the role of the university as a neutral arena in which faculty and students can freely express and debate a wide range of viewpoints constructively rather than feel stifled when their university takes a public stance on a political or social issue. However, there is confusion within academia on what institutional neutrality means and how to implement it.
The free-speech organization FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression) defines institutional neutrality as “the idea that colleges and universities should not, as institutions, take positions on social and political issues unless those issues ‘threaten the very mission of the university and its values of free inquiry.’ Instead, these discussions should be left to students and faculty.”

Does that include recognizing that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.
Which means that Palestinians have as much right to a state as Israelis.
The Constitution of the United States does not apply to the palestinians....that would be the koran.
The Palestinians have refused statehood at least 3 times: in 2008, in 2000, and in 1947. You can look it up just as easily as I can. If they had a state, it would mean an end to the conflict, and acceptance of Israel, which they don’t want.
The Koran says that the Jews did not accept Allah. According to the site, Islam QA,
“1. The holy Qur’aan declares them (the Jews) to harbour the most enmity against us Muslims. This is one of the reasons the Muslims don’t get along with them. The main reason for this enmity stems from jealousy.
2. Due to their constant transgression and pride, Allah Ta’ala has predestined disgrace for them.
3. It is incorrect of you to say that Allah did not punish them. They were duly punished for all their evil misdeeds.
and Allah Ta’ala Knows Best”

Better hurry and grab your keffiyeh and mask and head to your nearest college campus. They’re starting without you.
I was on the UNC-CH campus in 2017 while attending an NEH Institute. Beautiful campus which then had a statue of a Confederate soldier (honoring the many UNC students who had been Confederate soldiers). I believe it was torn down in 2020.
When they win they control the institution with an iron fist.
When we win we get neutrality.
You don’t need a university degree to figure out what is wrong with this picture.
apologies for quoting the declaration of independence, maybe i should have put a trigger warning for the easily offeneded
Our founding documents don’t apply to Palestinians. Most of those protestors aren’t citizens and are probably not here legally. I don’t give a damn about them, kick ‘em out.
The Declaration of Independence recognized that rights apply to all men, that is why they used the phrase “all men are created equal”
They can have a state of their own, but they can't have Israel.
Which means that Palestinians have as much right to a state as Israelis.
G-d A-mighty outranks Thomas Jefferson.
Sorry.
Then perhaps you should pick up a weapon and go fight with your precious Palestinians, just leave your passport behind.
Perhaps they could call it "Jordan".
“Neutral Institutions” and the “Marketplace of Ideas” is what these institutions were when the Left took them over in the first place !
Institutions are NOT neutral, they reflect the values of those who control them.
The Left captured the institutions so easily. They walked in and were welcomed by weak-minded liberals and idiot conservatives.
