So, setting up a narrative were a last minute “viral moment” (October surprise?) could “swing” the vote regardless of polling.... ok. Got it.
President George H. W. Bush in 1992, famously checked his watch during a presidential debate against Bill Clinton and Ross Perot. Commenters said that “glancing at the wrist watch in a debate is not considered to be a good move as it often signifies that the person is bored of the discussion.”

I am not defending George H. W. Bush, but it is a big deal because the democrat propaganda mainstream media made it a big deal. Had it not been for the commie media, it would just have been a glance at the watch which is what it was.
The media made it a Waterloo moment.
The Howard Dean scream is another one, as is Ronald Reagan’s ‘youth and inexperience’ jab at Mondale during a debate.
I remember when Dan Quayle spelled “potato” wrong - he added an extra “e” on the end on a 6th grade blackboard - it was 24-hour headline news for weeks on end.
Described later:
“Quayle would never hear the end of it. The media assault for this goof was truly relentless.”
Just wait until Trump starts talking about Ashley Biden’s diary.
“Joe...you love your kids. I heard about how you supported Hunter through his hard times...I heard about Ashley’s diary entry about you...you’re a really caring father.”
