OBVIOUSLY McConnell was just schooled by Schumer on how to run an impeachment trial. Too bad Republicans won’t learn a damn thing from it.

McConnell could have threatened to tie the Senate in knots over this. Filibuster every bill and put holds on every judicial nomination until a real trial was held.

The Constitution does not give Schumer the right to judge or decide “what is impeachable or not”. Absolutely no right at all. That was up to the house to decide and they did.

Because of decades of “leaders” like McConnell and Schumer, this country doesn’t have enough history left to worry about.
