It should NEVER have been brought back, to begin with, but as bad as those first two "new" Doctors were, the following ones and plots steadily grew worse and worse and WORSE! The last male Doctor was unwatchable and when they stuck the woman in, I and many others left for good and all.

It doesn’t bother me that much. I can’t wait for them to make Rosa Parks a white tranny. Perhaps Dylan Mulvaney will get that part?
When do we get to see a honky play da Black Panther from Wakanda Forever? I’d also like to see a movie or Broadway show with a honky playing Martin Luther King Jr. or Frederick Douglass.

Despite the obvious hesitancy I had of swapping out traditional male Dr Who’s for a female, the actual ‘character’ play of the one they got was of a down-scale Brit, i.e. not Cockney-trash talking but close to it. I’d expected at least a character who was a little bit more intellectual and refined. As far as what I might have seen wrt to sexual identity, etc. I didn’t watch it long enough for that to blatantly come out.
We’ll have to see with this new black actor. I at least hope they don’t have him go gay on-show. If he’s a more classically refined Dr Who, then who knows? It might be good.
