Do I still watch some programs and movies from the UK? Yes, I do.
Do I watch American shows? HELL NO! And only a very few more current American movies; more UK ones.
I can easily compare and contrast the acting abilities of all, dissect the mumblers ( who descend directly from "METHOD ACTING") from others, and any other aspects of acting, you'd care to debate. YOU CAN NOT DO ANY OF THAT! You ONLY know what you "like" and what you don't, without really knowing WHY.
You certainly can have an opinion; however, you also need to be able to say WHY!

Despite the obvious hesitancy I had of swapping out traditional male Dr Who’s for a female, the actual ‘character’ play of the one they got was of a down-scale Brit, i.e. not Cockney-trash talking but close to it. I’d expected at least a character who was a little bit more intellectual and refined. As far as what I might have seen wrt to sexual identity, etc. I didn’t watch it long enough for that to blatantly come out.
We’ll have to see with this new black actor. I at least hope they don’t have him go gay on-show. If he’s a more classically refined Dr Who, then who knows? It might be good.
