That’s an interesting comment.

Recall if you will John Adams’ view that only one third favored the Revolution, one third opposed it, and one third were undecided. Most colonists were willing to let it slide.

Today a lot of people are inclined to not want to change. Its a disruptive, discomforting and unsettling thought process for them. Convincing people that they need to do something, even for self-preservation, is no easy task. Just saying.
