I recently retired after 33 years in the public schools.
What I noticed is how many more kids now are taking some kind of psychotropic drug - lots of kids are on anti-depressants. Many, if not most in some kind of therapy - family therapy, group therapy, behavior modification therapy.
And, many of them came from either broken homes or single-mother homes, most of these are dysfunctional, men in and out all the time.
So sad for these kids.
they are taxed the hardest with little assurance that SS will be there for them....
guys need to be tall and athletic looking and girls must have silicon breasts or they will be ignored, or called "guilty"....
tv/movies/music has taught them that to be cool one must make a lot of money, have a lot of sex, and not have a care in the world....
I would be depressed too if I had to go thru these times as a young person.
