I worked at the TSA in Orlando for four miserable months. The women were nothing but entitlement queens. My male co-workers, on the average, tended to be as sweet as anything and just looking to be in a decent job with bennies. They tended to be nicer to the flyers, as well.
In Orlando, I don’t think much was stolen anymore (I had a friend who told stories of how in the early days ‘confiscated’ items were diffied up like plundered bounty, especially large bottles of expensive alcohol.)
Again, I was reprimanded numerous times for being too friendly. Read that again — I was fired for being polite to the travelers. We were actually TOLD to be as rude as possible and to treat the traveling public like prisoners. I couldn’t do it.
I quit because I couldn’t take it anymore. I’m back in Exceptional Student Education in the public schools. More rewarding, and the kids are amazing and loveable. Actually, Gen Ed kids, by and large, can be pretty cool.
+1
Love it when a plan works out for the good! Congrats!
Is that kids on the far right or the far left of the "Bell Curve"?
