CNN’s resident legal expert blasted Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her prosecutors for sloppy work after Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee threw out six charges against former President Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants.
Expert and former federal prosecutor Elie Honig claimed Willis’ “screw up” led to McAfee’s ruling, calling it an “embarrassing” development for her and her prosecutorial team.
While admitting the case is still “in place,” having the counts dismissed is a “setback.”

If Fani Willis and her prosecutors have lost the confidence of CNN, they are on the wrong side of a very slippery slope.
Just because there are the bulk of the made-up charges remaining, does not mean they will not dissolve and melt away like snowdrifts in the spring rainfall.
When the roof falls in, it is pretty spectacular. Being in the wrong place is almost always a surrender to fate.

It all took place after a Special Counsel named Weiss was going to uncover the alleged crimes by Hunter Biden.
According to what the informant shared with Mr. Gingrich, the un-named official was practically-demanding towards Fani Willis by saying that She had to file her planned indictment against President Trump to "distract from the :loose cannon" named Weiss.
Even though she said that her prosecution team wasn't ready, the official was bull-headed and practically ordered her to file her indictment against President Trump even though she needed to get the jury members seated to hear the charges.
Case-in-point, this was all an Obama-D.O.J.-led attack against President Trump coming through the White House and using Fulton County as the "cannon fodder".
Don’t dispute it at all.
But of course she was dumb enough to bite.
The result is that ALL of them will be exposed.
Recall they impeached Trump for one recorded phone call with Zelensky to simply inform him of any corruption by US officials in Ukraine. Ordering a damn county prosecutor to persecute, er, prosecute the President is a coupla orders of magnitude worse. Where’s the impeachment charges?
