This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Perhaps Erdogan wants to establish a dependent/surrogate puppet Government in Syria, as a layer of deniability, to wage subversion and war against Israel in the future.
At least, that’s what they say.
But every day we see fields and forest plantations strewn with the bodies of Russian occupiers.
In this video, we show what it looks like through the eyes of the “SKALA” aerial reconnaissance team.
Destroyed enemy soldiers are the result of the combat work of our battalion,” — the Skala Battalion.

Kyiv Independent reports (on a CNN article today):
“The regime of Syrian President Bashar Al Assad may fall within days as Syrian rebels continue to advance on the country’s capital Damascus, five different U.S. officials told CNN on Dec. 7.
Syrian rebels claim to have reached the suburbs of Damascus on Dec. 7, as the rebel groups’ rapid offensive against pro-government forces continues.
In a statement issued by the Free Syrian Army rebel group, the group claimed that they reached “the gates of Damascus,” CNN reported. Multiple opposition activists as well as a rebel commander also made the claim on Saturday.
Syrian rebel forces have quickly advanced in recent days in a surprise resurgence, with rebel forces gaining control of major cities Aleppo and Hama.
“Probably by next weekend the Assad regime will have lost any semblance of power,” one official told CNN on the condition of anonymity. “The emerging consensus is that is an increasingly plausible scenario.”
Officials cautioned that the opinions expressed were not a formal assessment of the situation, but do paint an increasingly bleak picture for the embattled country’s ruler...
...The advance of Syrian rebels also deals a blow to Assad’s key ally, Russia. If Assad’s regime falls, Russia will lose its regional foothold in the Middle East, including its only naval base in the Mediterranean, and its regional and global influence will be diminished...
...Russian forces operating in Syria have been accused by the U.N. and other organizations of committing war crimes in the country, including the intentional bombing of hospitals and the usage of “double-tap” attacks, a tactic Russia has repeated in Ukraine.”
⚡️⚡️⚡️ As Assad’s dictatorship falls, Putin's Regime is running out of time. Like the USSR before it, some of the first symptoms of Russia’s impending demise are detectable in Moscow's foreign allies & endeavors.
Vladimir Putin's "three day war" in Ukraine, now having passed 1,000 days, may have triggered a "cascading failure" that is costing the Russian dictator all of his political capital: The entire world sees that Putin has economically & militarily overextended his country, leaving Russia impotent to credibly confront threats to its allies abroad.
In the Middle East, the Kremlin yesterday clarified that there were no plans to save the Assad regime, as the Syrian Army abandoned their positions so quickly that they left behind weapons, aircraft, & intelligence documents. Hezbollah, recently turned-upside-down by incredible Israeli operations to eliminate its leadership, does not appear to be fighting to rescue the Syrian dictatorship. Meanwhile, the Russian Army appears to be ditching their Syrian bases as the Russian Navy has already set sail from the Syrian naval base where they had been stationed.
Without their bases in Syria, Russia will struggle to project strength in the Mediterranean & to supply its operations in Africa.
The African dictatorships recently born of Russian intelligence-backed coups are having problems: Burkina Faso's increasingly tense situation yesterday forced the dictator to dismiss the Prime Minister and Government while Russian mercenaries in Mali continue to be regularly killed by insurgents (and Ukrainian Defense Intelligence).
In the Americas, one-time Soviet-backed Cuba is now facing a "severe energy crisis," after it had its third total blackout in two years and Nicaragua's Ortega yesterday expelled more dissidents and Catholic religious orders due to apparent fears of them plotting to overthrow his autocracy.
Russia, seeking to manipulate European elections, is facing unanticipated pushback. The pro-European parties and referendum (just barely) won in Moldova. However, the same strategy Russia unsuccessfully tried in Moldova, did succeed in Romania's presidential elections which were overturned by the courts yesterday. However, though it initially appeared to be a success, protests in Georgia, a country that is 20% illegally occupied by Russia, are growing due to the pro-Russian government's success in stealing the elections there. Hopefully, in all three countries locals will succeed in preserving their sovereignty from Russia’s devices.
Moscow is silent as its global allies are struggling.
In Russia itself, the possibility of the total collapse of the Russian economy soon is very real. In just one day last week, the Ruble lost more than 10% of value, inflation is > 27%, key interest rate will soon reach 25%, there are increasing shortages of basic goods as their prices sky rocket (ex: the price of potatoes has grown 72%) making staples unaffordable in a country where the average family spends > 50% of income on food (in contrast, it’s usually about 15% of income in Europe). Russia does not have the economy needed to remain stable while it wages an expensive war and maintains global influence.
👉 If history is but prologue, then the collapse of Soviet-backed socialism in Eastern Europe, as Moscow was unable to economically or militarily support its allies, may well foreshadow what we can expect to see next transpire in Russia.

Send more Artillery!
Opposition fighters in Syria, in an unprecedented move, have totally taken over numerous cities, in a highly coordinated offensive, and are now on the outskirts of Damascus, obviously preparing to make a very big move toward taking out Assad. Russia, because they are so tied up in Ukraine, and with the loss there of over 600,000 soldiers, seems incapable of stopping this literal march through Syria, a country they have protected for years.
This is where former President Obama refused to honor his commitment of protecting the RED LINE IN THE SAND, and all hell broke out, with Russia stepping in. But now they are, like possibly Assad himself, being forced out, and it may actually be the best thing that can happen to them. There was never much of a benefit in Syria for Russia, other than to make Obama look really stupid.
In any event, Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT. LET IT PLAY OUT. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!” he added.
I think with the destruction of Hezbollah, then the collapse of the Syrian Army, the fall of Assad's government is a done deal. Not much choice but to let it play out. No doubt there will be some diplomatic moves, but we are not exactly on good terms with these people, and have been directly or indirectly killing them for some time.
I wonder if they could reach Iran.
Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, December 7, 2024
Russian federal censor Roskomnadzor appears to be testing the Russian sovereign internet in Russian regions populated by ethnic minorities. Dagestani telecom operator Ellko reported that Roskomnadzor conducted a test to revoke Republic of Dagestan residents’ access to foreign websites and applications from December 6 to 7, and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Caucasus service reported that users in Dagestan also experienced issues accessing WhatsApp and Telegram social media and messaging services.[22] Dagestani publication Chernovik reported that users in the Chechen and Ingushetian republics also experienced issues accessing foreign and some domestic websites and online services, including YouTube, Google, and some services of Russian internet giant Yandex — even with virtual private networks (VPNs).[23] Roskomnadzor confirmed on December 6 the test in the Republic of Dagestan and stated that the test is to ensure that “key replacement infrastructure” can function if Roskomnadzor deliberately disconnects Russia from the global internet.[24] Roskomnadzor likely intended in part to test its ability to successfully disconnect Chechnya, Dagestan, and Ingushetia — Russian federal subjects with Muslim-majority populations and recent histories of instability — from services like Telegram in order to control the information space in the event of instability in the future. Roskomnadzor previously attempted to disconnect users in the Dagestan, Sakha, and Bashkortostan republics from Telegram during antisemitic pogroms in November 2023 and protests in January 2024.[25] The Kremlin has recently invested roughly 59 billion rubles (about $648 million) into developing its technical capabilities to restrict internet traffic and has devoted efforts to compelling Russians to migrate from Western social media platforms to domestic platforms that the Kremlin can more easily control.[26]
Roskomnadzor indicated that it may intend to force Russians to migrate their websites from Western hosting providers to Russian hosting providers likely to better enforce Russian censorship laws. Roskomnadzor also warned on December 7 that it could block eight foreign web service hosting providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), GoDaddy, and HostGator, from operating in Russia due to noncompliance with Russian censorship laws.[27] Roskomnadzor has previously issued such warnings ahead of blocking Western websites and online services likely to test the reaction to these blocks before implementing them and pressure Russians to switch to domestic, Kremlin-approved and -controlled platforms and services.[28]

Putin was offered to strike Syria with Oreshnik
Andrei Belousov approached the president with such a proposal, sources in the Ministry of Defense reported. “We cannot help our allies in Syria with additional troops. Therefore, Andrei Removich suggested using Oreshnik. At one of the militant bases or at one of the cities they have captured. So that they would get scared and retreat. And we would protect our own in Syria ,” one of our interlocutors said.
Putin replied that we don't have many Oreshniks now, so they should be saved.” Although he praised Belousov’s idea itself. “Andrei Removich is now looking for additional arguments to convince Vladimir Vladimirovich to nevertheless use Oreshnik on the Syrian front, which is important for us,” the Ministry of Defense added. So far, no news coming from Syria has influenced Putin's decision.

The main thing is that Syria becomes our last defeat
That's all we can say at the moment about the fall of Bashar al-Assad. The defeat, let's be honest, was crushing. We wrote in detail about the future threat to Russia [see below]. We hope that everyone who needs to has heard this warning. And yes, unfortunately, “Oreshnik” will not save Russia. Whether you shoot at Syria with it or not... This is a fact that also requires reflection.
There is much more we can say, but we will not. There is no need yet. We know a lot, but we cannot write about this yet. God, but how shameful...
The Main Problem Is Trump. The Events in Syria Are Seen as a “Terrible Threat to Russia's Future”
The defeat of our ally Bashar al-Assad poses several threats at once. And the main problem is not even that we are losing control over Syria, according to the sources we spoke to. “The main problem is not Assad. To hell with Assad. Even the fact that we are losing Syria and influence in the Mediterranean is a problem, but not the biggest one. The key threat is how the Americans, led by Trump, will react to the Syrian failure,” a high-ranking source in the Presidential Administration believes.
He explained his concerns this way: “Everyone knows what kind of character Trump has. He is becoming a serious problem. The Americans may see that we are not always able to protect our allies. That even Erdogan can afford to ignore Russia's interests. Which means that pressure can be put on us. In the Ukrainian crisis, in something else. We can threaten, because if we do not have enough forces to defeat the militants, then why should we fight the West? And this, I will not be afraid to use bold words, is a terrible strategic threat to the future of Russia.”
The source, however, noted that the Kremlin understands the risks. And they are preparing measures to ensure that the Americans do not take advantage of the current situation. In turn, the interlocutor in the Ministry of Defense does not hide his irritation. “The defeat in Syria is very bad. But what is even worse is that we often make the wrong bets. We bet on Yanukovych, then on Medvedchuk (and then we change him for Ukrainian Nazis, sacrificing the guys who really fought), then on Assad. Politicians choose the wrong ones, and the military is then forced to correct their mistakes. Correct them with a lot of bloodshed,” he said.
We hope that conclusions will be drawn from the Syrian situation. After all, we agree with our sources, the future of Russia really depends on this. And the Victories, which, we believe, are ahead of us.

“Trump has upset us, but we will fix the situation”
This is how a Kremlin source commented on Donald Trump's meeting with Macron and Zelensky, which took place in Paris the day before. “We certainly cannot like the fact that Trump met with Zelensky and smiled at him. The new US president has upset us, but we will fix the situation. We have tools,” the channel's source said.
He declined to say what these tools are. He only suggested that everyone “not forget about Vladimir Vladimirovich's experience and how our president can influence other politicians.”
