Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine (2 year anniversary)

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

The idea of Preston confusing a Memorandum of Conversation as a PROMISE regarding future NATO expansion shows ... a Russian propagandist.

The idea that Russia signed "The Treaty on the Final Settlement with respect to Germany" without understanding exactly what the agreement included is absolute garbage, and they know it. Both Gorbachev Shevardnadze have said as much.

Virtually ALL of our resident Putin supporters are also cheerleaders for BRICS, the fall of the US Dollar and the rise of a Sino-Russo dominated “multi-polar” world. Pretty much the polar opposite of Trump’s vision of American Greatness.

(Bloomberg) — US President-elect Donald Trump warned the so-called BRICS nations that he would require commitments that they would not move to create a new currency as an alternative to using the US dollar and repeated threats to levy a 100% tariff.

“Not one inch eastward” was a phrase used by U.S. Secretary of State James Baker in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990.

The phrase was part of a series of assurances given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991.

Baker proposed a hypothetical bargain to Gorbachev: if the Soviet Union gave up its part of Germany, NATO would “not shift one inch eastward”.

Baker explained that if NATO maintained a presence in a Germany that is a part of NATO, there would be no extension of NATO's jurisdiction for forces of NATO 1 inch to the east.

...a willful intent to deceive, in my opinion.

I am certainly NOT sorry there might be no war for my grandkids who are currently enlisted. However I had too many sweets at TG dinner, so will not bake a pie. However, I will certainly make good use of the turkey carcass and ham bone I was gifted, to make a good ham and been soup, and a turkey veggie stew. I encourage all to do something similar for their good health. Remember, your grandma loves you and wants you to be healthy and happy.

BREAKING 🚨‼️ Russian sources write that the commander of the Russian Group of Forces in Syria, Lieutenant General Kisel, has been removed from his post.

Previously, he was defeated in Ukraine (Karkhiv) and exiled to Syria.

1/ Russian arms exports have collapsed by 92% between 2021 and 2024, according to a Russian defence policy expert.

While the drop has enabled Russia to focus production on its own needs, Russia's arms industry needs the war to end so that it can resume earning hard currency. ⬇️

Russia's arms industry will never recover.

The entire world now knows that ruzzian military hardware is junk.

To pray for peace you have to believe that God is on your side and needs encouragement. Right now it appears God is on the side of the Russian Orthodox Patriarch who is supporting Russian death and is telling Russians not to be afraid of it. So I plan to leave God alone for a while.

“the commander of the Russian Group of Forces in Syria, Lieutenant General Kisel, has been removed”

Looks like they have a real war on their hands.

We have talked about how China would be tempted to bite off chunks when Russia got weak, but they are not the only ones.

Turkey is looking to take from Putin right now.

Aligning with Iran and North Korea, meant taking on their enemies as well - Sunni Islam, South Korea and Japan.

I wonder what communications have gone on between Georgia and Turkey. The Georgians are really protesting the most recent results of their elections with vigor. International observers agree that the pro Russia winnerw have engaged in some serious voting irregularities. Would the Georgians for fair elections be that active if they did not have some support from Turkey?

Up to now, Russia has been the sole “winner” in Syria. Syria itself has been devastated, suffered millions of casualties and lost territory. Europe was flooded with millions of refugees. But Russia maintained energy dominance in Europe by blocking the Qatar-Turkey pipeline, disrupted west-middle east politics, kept her port at Tartus and had a free place to test weapons and tactics while supporting Iran/Hezbollah in destabilizing Israel.

Syria is critical to Putin’s long term goals, and he will do whatever it takes to protect it. Even if that means sacrificing Assad. Israel’s attacks on the Syrian military and Hezbollah have been huge factor in weakening the Assad regime. Were Russia not stretched so thin with Ukraine, I’m not sure what Putin might have done...

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, November 30, 2024

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov met with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un during his unannounced trip to Pyongyang on November 30.[6] Belousov and Kim discussed the Russia-North Korea strategic partnership and relations between the Russian and North Korean militaries.[7] Kim reiterated support for Russia's war in Ukraine and boilerplate rhetoric that the Kremlin uses to forward its reflexive control campaign aimed at forcing the West into self-deterrence.[8]

Russian Mobilization and Force Generation Efforts (Russian objective: Expand combat power without conducting general mobilization)

Russian milbloggers continued to criticize poor Russian military command decisions and poor training and discipline among Russian personnel. A Russian milblogger and former Storm-Z instructor complained that the command of the Russian 132nd Motorized Rifle Brigade (51st Combined Arms Army [CAA], formerly 1st Donetsk People's Republic Army Corps [DNR AC]) is responsible for some assault elements of the 109th Motorized Rifle Regiment (1st “Slovyansk” Motorized Rifle Brigade, 51st CAA) and that the 132nd Brigade's command sent an injured soldier back to an assault company in the Toretsk direction.[55] The milblogger noted this is a systemic problem within the 132nd Motorized Rifle Brigade and other Russian units more broadly. Another milblogger complained that Russian air defense forces in the near rear frequently attempt to shoot down Russian drones due to poor training, even though Russian drone operators always inform Russian air defenses when they launch drones.[56] The milblogger proposed that the military command punish personnel who attempt to shoot down Russia's own drones.

The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) reported on November 30 that the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) and Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) conducted a joint air patrol over the Sea of Japan, East China Sea, and western Pacific Ocean.[57]

A Russian insider source claimed that Russian law enforcement raids against nightclubs in Moscow, which Russian authorities conducted overnight on November 29 to 30 to enforce Russian censorship laws and the pseudo-state ideology, are actually intended to replenish the populations of penal colonies for Russian force generation efforts.[58] Russian authorities previously conducted raids targeting migrant communities to coerce migrants into joining the Russian military and capitalize on xenophobia against migrants following the March 2024 Crocus terrorist attack in Moscow.[59]

Will Russia fight for the corridor with Kaliningrad?

The Suwalki Gap should become part of Russia. This statement was made following the founding congress of the Other Russia party, created by Eduard Limonov. Why is it worth paying attention to the statement of the National Bolsheviks right now, you ask...

According to our information, the statement was agreed upon with the Kremlin. And not just agreed upon - this is one of the elements of pressure on the West. Now is the perfect time for such a shake-up, the Presidential Administration believes.

“Even though Trump won in the States, the transition period is always a mess. Europe has a lot of its own problems, and the holidays are just around the corner. They are cowards, so they should not relax,” the Presidential Administration source said. According to a source in the General Staff, our military has plans to take control of the Suwalki Gap. “Listen, there is a lot of speculation on this topic. But it cannot be said that we do not have such operational plans. Of course, we understand how much force and resources we need. And we also understand the time frame of the operation,” the source said. According to him, decisions to conduct such operations are primarily political. “We can take control of this area without any problems. But what happens next is up to the political leadership,” the source said. He believes that the enemy in the person of NATO is not ready to seriously fight back if the decision is made in the Kremlin. At the same time, two generals emphasized off the record that troops are now more needed on the existing front. “For the kind of advance that we have, we need a lot of personnel. The losses, alas, are serious. If we want to regain control over the entire Kursk region by the end of the year or take Pokrovsk, then we need to attract a lot of forces there,” one of the generals says. At the same time, he is skeptical about the prospect of liberating the Kursk region by the New Year. Kremlin snuffbox
