This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Berlin backs use of German weapons in Ukrainian offensive on Russian territory

As long as Ukraine adheres to humanitarian legal provisions, it is allowed to conduct such military operations. For instance, civilian targets must not be attacked, and prisoners of war must be treated fairly. Ukraine has adhered to this so far—unlike Russia.
German politics see no issue
Politicians from various government and opposition parties have also made it clear that such use would not be a legal problem. “Of course, a country that is attacked has the right to defend itself.
This includes the right to operate on Russian territory as long as all rules are respected according to international law,” said Lars Klingbeil, deputy chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), the same party as Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
This position from the SPD deputy, a party often seen as pacifist, is relatively new. Politicians from two coalition partners, the Greens and the FDP, had already supported and defended the use of German weapons in Russia even before the Kursk offensive.
Roderich Kiesewetter, a security policy expert from the largest opposition party, the conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU), had already stated to DW at the beginning of the year: “Ukraine’s attacks on military targets on Russian territory are not only legally permissible but also militarily and strategically justified and absolutely reasonable.”
