He thought Trump would win the state by double digits. I was pretty close in my prediction.
It will be similar in 2024. Mid single digits for Trump in Texas. 4-6 points.
Trump rubs people the wrong way. Texas is a 10 point state for someone like Cornyn. Can be conservative but not abrasive.
My prediction is a Cruz win this year by 2-4 points. Similar to his 2.5 win in 2018 - but Cruz will be helped by it being a presidential year.

That has been my recommendation all along.
This will allow the pilots to get flying time & valuable experience in a low threat environment.
Cruise missiles & shaheds will be their primary targets.

I can see reasons for Texas, it used to be solid democrat, big state with lots of immigration both legal and illegal and interstate esp from kali. Several large cities like Houston and Austin that are lefty…., but Oregon?

This was posted yesterday, but I need to provide some analysis.
The Su-25s are flying at very low altitude...75 to 100 feet AGL.
They are not deploying flares...normally, flares are only dispensed during pop-up maneuvers to employ ordnance.
When flying at very low altitudes, the pilots spend most of their time looking forward to keep from flying into the ground or hitting guy wires, radio towers, etc.
If one of the pilots had seen the missile, they could have deployed flares and taken evasive maneuvers.
Perhaps the pilots should fly at a slightly higher altitude...100-300 feet AGL.
This is much more comfortable and allows the pilots to look around for threats.
This is one of the lessons learned by the Israelis in the 73 war.
