This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

... hired by US tech firms under H1-b ... Many of the Chinese who come to study, are doing so as a way to get out of China for good.

More H1-b indentured servitude, less jobs for Americans, just to save money, while hiding the real cost of producing anything in the US.

All part of the old guard CCP dream of colonizing the US. Doubling the number of “students” speeds the process. You do realize that all Chinese leaving China, for any reason, are heavily vetted for loyalty? They must have Party approval.

No Han Chinese gets out of China for good. There is always some family left behind for the Party to use as hostages.

Once upon a time, schools in the US taught Latin and Greek, then they dropped Latin and Greek for Spanish, in the future they will teach Spanish and Mandarin.

Fortunately, in 1953 I had the good sense to start learning Spanish in high school, since I found German grammar beyond my capabilities. I was also temporarily stumped by the Indirect Object in Spanish. One son has studied some Russian, the other son has learned Spanish by exposure. He was living in Florida and wanted to take a course in electricity at Adult Ed. Only 3 people signed up for the English class, so he ended up taking the Spanish class on electricity. My oldest grandson enlisted and spent a year at the Monterrey language school learning Arabic. Two of my grandsons are bilingual in English and Spanish. I’m not sure what other language my 4th grandson has but he is currently enlisted, and in training for a future as an officer.

Personally I have found Spanish very useful when I want to find a reasonably priced worker for a renovation job. Too bad there is practically no trades teaching in high schools, since the powers that be took it into their heads that all should aim for a college education. Don’t these geniuses realize that half the population is below average in intelligence? My Spanish speaking son is dyslexic, but is very good at memorizing, and now has a successful electric business. It took him a while to get there, and he certainly would have had an easier path if trades had been offered in his large high school.

A pipeline supplying gasoline to Moscow, blowed up real good.

Kyiv Independent (27 Aug):

“An explosion on Aug. 26 started a fire at the Ryazan-Moscow oil pipeline, a key petroleum product supply route for the Russian capital, a source in Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) told the Kyiv Independent…

…As a result of the “powerful explosion... the transportation of petroleum products to Moscow (via the pipeline) has been suspended indefinitely,” the HUR source claimed on Aug. 27. The cause of the explosion was not specified.

Since 2018, the pipeline has been repurposed by Transneft, a state-run pipeline operator, to supply automobile gasoline to Moscow. The source noted that the company also supplies fuel to the Russian military…

…Ryazan lies roughly 180 kilometers (120 miles) from Moscow and some 500 kilometers (300 miles) from the Russia-Ukraine border.”

The United States is reportedly willing to supply supporting assets to a European-led force grouping as part of postwar security guarantees for Ukraine. The Kremlin has repeatedly rejected the presence of troops from NATO countries as part of any security guarantee for Ukraine in recent weeks. The Financial Times (FT) reported on August 26 that official Ukrainian and European sources stated that senior US officials told European officials recently that the United States would be prepared to contribute “strategic enablers,” such as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); command and control (C2); and air defense assets, to support a future European-led deployment on the ground in postwar Ukraine as part of security guarantees for Ukraine.

According to sources I've read, the US providing the above support is linked to Europe contributing "tens of thousands" of boots on the ground in Ukraine. If Europe is not willing to step up and take the lead on the ground, we will not be supporting them. So now the ball is in Europe's court. Can they come up with a 30 or 40 thousand strong ground (peace keeping) force without the US doing the heavy lifting?

“Trans Minneapolis church shooter’s manifesto journal was written in Russian.”

Maybe he was one of the young boys molested by Putin. Something was deeply wrong with him.

New Ukrainian Ambassador to the USA announced - a good looking woman who is an accomplished high achiever (Deputy Prime Minister, Attorney General, etc.). This is a great call for working with the Trump Administration.

Defense Minister Umerov (a Muslim Crimean Tatar, who speaks Turkish) reknown for his anti-corruption clean ups, had been previously proposed, but will now be remaining in Kyiv, heading the Defense Council of Ukraine.

Kroc Independent (27 Aug):

“Ukraine has appointed former Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna as its new ambassador to the U.S., President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Aug. 27.

Stefanishyna’s appointment comes at a critical moment in U.S.-Ukraine relations, with U.S. President Donald Trump pushing to end Russia’s war...

…A seasoned diplomat and expert in European and Euro-Atlantic integration, Stefanishyna was tapped as special envoy to the U.S. on July 17. She has held top government roles since 2020, serving as deputy prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration and briefly as justice minister in 2024.“

“refineries are burning tonight in Russia.”

The Russian Ministry of Finance just recently reduced their forecast for Russian GDP for this year.

Sounds like they may have to reduce it again soon.

“Afipsky and Novokuybyshevsky refineries are burning tonight”

One of those refineries (Novokuybyshevsky, in Samara) was hit three weeks ago, and sent a fireball a thousand feet high. A big producer of Aviation Fuel.

The other (Afipsky, in Krasnodar Krai) was also struck early in August. Both are quite large.
