Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine (2 year anniversary)

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

The 28.41 minute video linked below is a detailed discussion about Ukraine, Russia and the many other worrysome countries and their views of the Ukraine/Russia struggle. China is pointed out as the greatest danger and even with some capabilities greater than those of the US. The growing power of Hegseth, Bannon, and others working together was looked at as a separate power centers apart from Trump, and a potential danger to him. This was considered to be part of their hatred of Europe, a hatred not shared by Trump who values his mother’s Scotish family origin, and also has strong respect for the British Royal Family.

This 47.29 minute video goes into great detail about the impact of recent specific attacks by Ukraine within the Moscow area on the psychology of the people. The destruction of a major totally secret military coordinating center was a total surprise. The electric blackout in parts of Moscow, and several other successful attacks increased the people’s distress. Since the major Russian power centers were no longer able to cooperate or communicate effectively, the people were gaining their info from Telegram. Crowds gathered with many significant slogans and expressions of doubt. Protesters even demanded peace, forever. People were no longer swallowing the Kremlin propaganda. Information about failure and chaos on parts of the Russian front brought more doubt and fear to the people. People began to demand accountability. Putin remained silent as fires burned in Moscow. Is this truly a report of a turning point in thinking and acceptance of the status quo by the Russian people? Let us hope so.

When I was writing my previous comment, I could not remember the name of the third person listed as cooperating with Hegseth and Bannon. It was Tucker Carlson, and they and others were behind the recent stop shipment of arms to Ukraine, motivated by their dislike of Europe. The entire focus of the second video described was the apparent spontaneous unanimity of the Russian people. For example people in Moscow started flashing their apartment lights on and off. This quickly spread far and wide. Specific reports by people questioning the fate of their soldiers were spread, as well as other distress over government and military failures. The narrators see these behaviors as a significant historical turning point for Russia.

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, July 5, 2025

European intelligence services continue to report that Russia is intensifying its deployment of chemical agents in Ukraine in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), to which Russia is a signatory. Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans reported on July 4 that Dutch and German intelligence agencies have evidence that Russian forces are frequently employing banned chemical agents in Ukraine.[21] Brekelmans stated that Russian forces are intensifying their use of chemical agents, including using drones to drop choking agents into Ukrainian trenches to force Ukrainian soldiers into the line of fire. The Dutch and German intelligence agencies reported that Russian forces are normalizing and standardizing the use of chemical agents, such as tear gas and chloropicrin, along the frontline and that Russia is investing in chemical weapons research.[22]

Kaliningrad, July 5 - AiF-Kaliningrad.

In the Kaliningrad region, diving into the sea with scuba gear has been banned. The decree came into force on July 4 and was published on the regional government website.

The decision was made to ensure safety. Scuba diving in the sea is prohibited 24 hours a day. It applies to the territorial waters of the Russian Federation and concerns everyone who uses diving breathing apparatus.

Earlier, a ban on the use of drones was introduced in the Kaliningrad region.

Vatnik Soup is a series of social media threads, podcasts, articles and books about pro-Russian propagandists (“vatniks”) from around the world, be they so-called “independent journalists”, politicians or military personnel, whether they're naive fools or cynical grifters.

The series also offers deeper insights into how online propaganda works and is spread, such as social media manipulation through troll farms, Kremlin-crafted memes and narratives and coordinated fake news campaigns.

Hegseth does nothing without 47’s approval - the others just make the narrative implausible.

47 is the one who stopped the Patriot missiles and other arms.

Blame GW Bush and his prolonged quagmire wars in Muslim nations. This is why we get the isolationists/Tuck Carlson faction that don’t want the US to do anything anywhere. They were too chickenshit to drop bunker busters on Iranian nukes facilities.

Ukraine is a European war thus a war that matters. We should be helping Ukraine out lots more. But wasting blood and treasure in Iraq and Afghanistan is why we do not

Bush was sort of right but he failed to understand it is a religions war and that Islam once destroyed the West and is trying again to destroy it. One cannot nation-build, whatever that actually is, with people that want you dead, conquered, subservient, or converted.

But like the article posted earlier today [ https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/4327118/posts ], the US and the rest of the West may be too stupid to survive against Islam a second time - simply because everyone believes Islam is harmless and a “religion of Peace” etc. [ And that particular piece of stupidity is laid squarely at Bush’s feet. ]

Bush pulled the country in the right direction but in the wrong way. Either kill muslims where they live, or wait for them to come here and kill us where we live. Thanks to Bush we have chose the later. Now we await out fate in darkness and ignorance of out foe’s existence.

After 911, had Bush nuked Mecca and Medina, Islam would have ceased to exist [ no one prays to a failed god ].

PIF: 47 is the one who stopped the Patriot missiles and other arms."

Here's a list of the weapons/munitions being "stopped".

92 AIM-7 Sparrow missiles
30 PAC-3 MSEs
8496 155mm rounds
142 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles
252 GMLRS
25 Stinger missiles
125 AT-4 recoilless anti-tank guns

My comments:

AIM-7s have been replaced by Aim-120s (AMRAAMs). I doubt there are any Air-to-Air units that list Aim-7s on their WRM.

PAC-3 MSEs...this is the first indication I have seen that the U.S. is providing Patriot missiles. The shortage of PAC-3 MSEs is probably the "rationale" for stopping the entire shipment.

The 155mm rounds are probably Excalibur rounds. There could be WRM shortage of these.

AGM-114 Hellfire missiles...I did not know that we were supplying Hellfires. I would be surprised if 142 Hellfire missiles would cause a WRM shortage.

There are many different GMLRS rockets. Some that are obsolete and no longer listed as WRM. I believe that these could be shipped with no impact to C-status.

I believe the entire shipment was stopped due to a shortage of PAC-3 MSEs.

I hope the pentagon "holds" the PAC-3 MSEs and ships the rest.

ETCM...please comment.

Just to be clear, I am not saying that someone other than 47 directed the move to stop arms shipments to Ukraine. In comments 18,103 and 104 I was trying to summarize an hour of listening to the two links I included in 18,103. I thought a number of interesting points were made in these videos, points which could spark lively discussion at this thread. Information and opinions were shared about most of the major trouble and power areas of the world active today. In the first link significant information and thoughts about China were shared. One conclusion was that in some categories China is better developed than the US.
